Course content
Across the span of the eSports pathway, you will be studying a broad range of skills, and disciplines that are designed to not only develop your knowledge and understanding, but to prepare you for industry and progression through the pathway.
During the process of completing the study programme, you will be able to review topics that cover the broad spectrum of eSports related ideals that have been devised to help to focus your skills and abilities.
Progression through the programme would cover topics that could include:
- eSports skills and strategies and analysis
- Health, wellbeing and fitness for eSports players
- Planning and running eSports events
- Livestream broadcasting
- Shoutcasting of eSports matches
- Coaching of eSports players
Assessment methods
The modules covered across this pathway have internally assessed coursework, which could take on the form of written reports, formal presentations, developmental artefacts, hosted events, or group project work.
