Dear Students and Parents/Guardians
Welcome to our hospitality department here at Chichester College.
We are all very excited for you to join one of our catering or hospitality courses this September.
The enrolment slot for all hospitality students will be on Wednesday 28th August. The time will be emailed to you directly.
You will need to arrive at college 1 hour before your enrolment slot and go to Restaurant 64 with either your compulsory course supplement payment OR proof of your Learner Support Grant finance allocation. Please bring your identification e.g. passport and GCSE results with you as you will need these to complete your enrolment.
Didn't get the grades you were expecting? Don't panic, we still have a course for you but please email your course leader directly with your grades as soon as you can.
For most of you there will be a 2 day induction during the week commencing 2nd September-please see your course week 1 induction timetable in your chosen course section for details. This will be available to you towards the end of August. Please bring pens and a notepad, headphones and lunch/money for lunch with you.
There are a few things you need to do before you enrol.
Pre-enrolment. You will have been sent an email inviting you to pre-enrol. If you have not already received this email please check your junk/spam folders as sometimes these emails can be re-directed there. If you still do not have it, please contact the enrolments team on 01243 812223 or email enrolments@chichester.ac.uk to have it resent.
Follow the link in your email and complete the information requested.
If you had exam support at school it is vital that you contact our additional learning support team to ensure that this is in place for you before you start your course in September. All students will be sitting a food safety exam in the second week and we are unable to allow any exam concessions that have not been pre arranged with the exam board.
If you have not already spoken to our team regarding your exam concessions please email Zane Alecio at alecioz@chichester.ac.uk stating your full name, contact details and course that you have been accepted on to along with a copy of your V8/V9 form if you have it, or, alternatively your school contact details.
If you are applying for a learner support grant you will need to do this from the 1st August as it may take a few weeks to process. To do this please follow the link below to fill in the online forms and upload evidence of your financial situation.
