Music courses have specific additional requirements for your interview.
Please be prepared to stay approximately 1.5 hours
Before attending and no sooner than seven days prior to your interview: You will be required to submit by email, the following to ensure the tutor can make an informed decision about your application:
For Music Performance Level 1 & 2:
You will need to provide a music performance/audition video demo, no longer than two minutes in total, of you playing or singing along to a song of your choice, to demonstrate your interest in the subject and to ensure the tutor can make an informed decision about your application. You will also need to include in your video answers to the following questions:
- Why do you think this course is the right one for you?
- What do you want to get from the course?
- (Only for those not applying straight from school) What have you been doing since you were last in education and what makes you want to return now?
You will need to email your work (and answers to the questions) via www.wetransfer.com to ApplyMusic@gbmc.ac.uk but no sooner than seven days prior to your interview.
For Music Production Level 1 & 2:
You will need to provide in no more than 500 words, answers to the questions below. Please send to ApplyMusic@gbmc.ac.uk
