Exams (Brinsbury)

The fees listed here are approximations as they have not yet been confirmed by the exam boards.

Payments can be made over the phone or in Student Services.

GCSE (November) resit
Students who have taken GCSE maths and / or English in the summer exam season can resit if they did not achieve Grade 4.  However, please be aware that it is an exam board regulation that only students aged 16 or over can register for a November resit.  Exam boards charge approximately £50 per subject; payments can be made at Student Services. 
Please complete the Resit form, available from Student Services.

Copies of marked exam papers: Exam boards offer a free service to allow students access to their marked papers.  Students often find this useful if they did not achieve Grade 4 and are continuing their GCSE studies for the summer exams as it shows which areas need particular focus. 
Please complete the Access to Scripts form (below) and bring into Student Services.

Review of Marking: If you think you are close to the grade boundary and just missed the next grade by a few marks, you can request a review of marking.  Exam boards do charge a fee for this service of approximately £50 per subject; please be aware even if extra marks are awarded, the increase may not be sufficient to change the grade.  We can provide the grade boundaries so students considering this option can see how many marks are required in order to achieve the next grade.

C&G Technicals

Students who fail can resit for no cost.  Students who pass but would like to resit for a higher grade can do so but there will be a fee of approximately £15.  Technical resits take place throughout June.

C&G Dog Grooming

L2 Dog Grooming resit fee is approximately £20.
L3 Dog Grooming resit fee is approximately £45.

The resit fee per unit is approximately £25.
