    The First generation Programme is a support programme run by Worthing College for students who might be considering university in the future. It is intended to help students who come from a background which does not, traditionally, have high rates of progression to university.

    The scheme is run by Worthing College in partnership with a number of universities, many of them local. Joining the scheme entitles students to extra support, including trips, guaranteed offers and interviews as well as financial support.
