I'm under 19, will I have to pay fees?
If you are under 19 years of age then you will not pay tuition or exam fees. However, you may be asked to pay a compulsory fee for specialist course material, tools or kits and equipment.
I'm over 19, will I have to pay fees?
If you are aged 19 or over you may be able to claim a fee reduction if you are in receipt of a work related benefit, or if you have not already attained a qualification at level 2 or level 3 and are now enrolling for a course at this level. If you are enrolling for a course at Level 1 or Foundation Level and are 19-23 and do not already hold a qualification at Level 2, discounts may also apply. Please ask for further details.
Eligible work related benefits which attract a discount are: -
• Job Seekers’ Allowance
• Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) in the work related activity group
• Universal Credit
Other state benefits accepted are (applicants MUST be unemployed): -
• Income Support
• Housing Benefit
• Disability Living Allowance
• Carer Allowance
• Council Tax Credit
• Bereavement Widows Pension Benefit
• Child Tax Credit
We are unable to accept the following benefits: -
• Working Tax Credit
If you wish to claim a fee reduction relating to a benefit listed above you must show evidence of your receipt of this benefit at the time of enrolment. (This will usually be an award notice or the Job Seekers’ Allowance log book.)
Students without a level 2 or level 3 qualification must complete a declaration form at enrolment.
There is also the option to pay in installments and your enrolment operator will go through these options during your enrolment.
I am over 24 studying at Level 3 or 4
If you are over 24 and studying a level 3 or some level 4 courses, you will be able to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan. We will be sending you a Learning and Funding letter and if you haven't received this, please contact admissions@crawley.ac.uk

If you do not receive your loan information by the time you come to enrol, you can pay a £100 deposit which is refundable once your 24+ loan agreement is received.
