Inspiration Activity

Create a Map

1.    Open Inspiration;

2.  Choose a topic to plan.  Think of this topic as something you could eventually develop in to a longer piece of writing;

3.    Select ‘Map’;

4.   Delete ‘Central Idea’ and add a title;

5.   Label each ‘branch’;

6.   Click on ‘+’ to add more branches or subtopics;

7.   Select any text, click on ‘Note’ and add more information;

8.   Select any text, click on ‘Hyperlink’ and link to a web page;

9.    Click on ‘Transfer’ and follow the steps to transfer the map to Word. This can now be used as an essay/assignment plan.
